NETWARE 4.X / 3.12 VLM ENVIRONMENT ODI WORKSTATION INSTALLATION:
        ===============================================================

In a VLM environment, when installing the workstation ODI Driver for Pure Data
PDI8023-8, PDI8023-16, PDI8023Plus-16 and the PDuC8023 Ethernet adapters,
the following is the installation procedure for the above cards:

1) Login to the File Server as ADMIN using NON-VLM ODI driver.

2) Copy the three required files (DRIVER.DOS, PDEODI.INS and PDEODI.COM)
   in this order, from this directory (\NETWARE\4.X\WORKSTN) into the
   "Z:\ PUBLIC\CLIENT\DOSWIN\DOS" directory.

3) Run "INSTALL" from the "Z:\PUBLIC\CLIENT\DOSWIN" directory.
   For OS/2 VLM, run INSTALL from "Z:\PUBLIC\CLIENT\OS2WIN" directory.

4) To install the Network Driver for the Pure Data Ethernet Adapters is
   done through step number 4 from the main menu. Assuming the three
   above mentioned drivers have been copied in the the right directory,
   the Pure Data Drivers should appear as part of the available list of
   Network Drivers.

5) Install will automatically modify the necessary files as well as copy
   the VLM files into the specified directory (usually C:\NWCLIENT).



FEATURES ADDED TO THE PDEODI.COM v1.5 ODI DRIVER:
================================================

        - The PDI8023Plus card is now supported in all modes including
          interrupts 11 and 12.
        - Promiscuous mode
        - Supports PORT and SLOTNUMBER parameters in NET.CFG file
        - The driver now resets the card when unloaded (PDEODI /U) allowing
          the driver to be loaded again without a hardware reset
        - Install files have been created for use with install programs
          like Netware Client Install in a VLM environment
