Note (1):The floppy drive controller can be enabled any one of three ways: (a) close jumper W8, or (b) close pins 41 & 42 of connector J3, or (c) select the floppy disk controller enabled option in the EISA configuration file. Note (2):To disable the floppy disk controller, all three of the above options must be disabled: (a) open jumper W8, and (b) open pins 41 & 42 of connector J3, and (c) select the floppy disk controller disabled option in the EISA configuration file. | |||
